Paros is one of the most popular islands in the Cyclades, famous for combining a cosmopolitan feeling and intense nightlife with impressive landscapes, beautiful beaches and a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, Paros has many interesting archaeological sites and boasts exquisite local wines and cuisine. Located right in the center of the Aegean Sea, west of Naxos, Paros is only a few hours by ferry from Athens.

The villages of Paros are characterized by white-washed Cycladic houses, churches with blue domes and windows, and paved alleys. Parikia and Naoussa are the most popular villages, and despite the many shops, bars, and nightclubs, they still keep their traditional character. Perhaps the most famous site on the island, the striking Byzantine church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani, is found outside Parikia.

Paros has many beaches, known for their beauty, with soft golden sand and crystal clear waters. Each beach has a different feeling and its own charm. Kolymbithres, Santa Maria, Faraggas, and Krios are some of the most popular organized beaches, in locations protected from the north winds. The beautiful Golden Beach and New Golden Beach, on the other side of the island, are ideal for windsurfing.
